1. Course Description

Social networking has created a major virtual hub for collaborating and interacting with people around the world. People are sharing everything from photos; personal blogs to personal profiles, including their resumes. Social networking has now become a major media for discussing opinions, reviews, recommendations which is reaching wider audience than any other media. There are many social networking web sites such as Orkut, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Linkedin, which are playing a prominent role in connecting people. Members are increasing every day and it has becoming a major traffic driver. Business enterprises are using social media to have a personal level engagement with the customers and strategically promoting new products and services. This course is designed for people who want to learn more about using the Social Media as an effective tool to enhance and develop their strategy for business: Marketing and sales, Customer service, Recruiting, Internal and business communication. You will be introduced to tools and techniques as a part of learning.
