The business environment is full of challenges; challenges which are extremely complex and demanding. Expectations have to be fulfilled, moral and ethical values have to be upheld, and alongside business has to prosper. Managers of today need to be multi-skilled to face challenges anytime anywhere… and do so effectively and efficiently. The course aims at preparing the participants for facing such a challenging and competitive environment. It instills in the participants, the confidence required to face the communication challenges. The course induces professionalism in participating in interactive presentations - be it public speaking or even discussing in groups. It sensitizes the participants to the basic corporate etiquette essential for making a positive impression and increasing mutual respect. The course provides the participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate effectively with others, and make a meaningful contribution both within their workplace and outside.

THE COURSE WILL MAKE EXTENSIVE USE OF AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS (SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF THE GADGETS). HAVING ‘SKILL-DEVELOPMENT’ FOCUS, IT WILL ALSO ENCOURAGE LOT OF ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF THE STUDENT BOTH AS AN ‘INDIVIDUAL’ AND AS A MEMBER OF A ‘GROUP’. SESSIONS ON PRANAYAMA WILL ALSO BE CONDUCTED.

THE STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO READ ALL THE ‘PHOTOCOPIED & BOUND’ READING MATERIAL GIVEN TO THEM . THIS READING MATERIAL WILL BE DISTRIBUTED IN ADVANCE. THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE EXPECTED TO READ ALL THE HANDOUTS GIVEN IN CLASS FROM TIME TO TIME.
