1. Course Description/Introduction :
Operations management is concerned with the design, planning, operation and control of all the facilities, processes and activities required to transform resources (inputs) into goods and services.
This course is designed to familiarize students with strategic , operational and tactical planning & control functions of manufacturing & service systems. The focus is on meeting customer’s requirement in time, within quality specifications & at competitive cost.
