Cooperative Management
Course Content

Objective – It is a 3 credit Core Course designed to impart, knowledge, understanding and skills required for professionally managing the cooperatives. The course will help the student to understand theories and practices of management in managing democratic bodies (cooperatives).

Pedagogy – Most of the sessions would provide ample scope for discussion involving all the participants in exploring and understanding functioning of the cooperatives. It would contain lectures, case studies, field exposures and assignments.

· Milk Cooperative (Primary, District, Union and State Federation)
· Credit Cooperatives (primary Agriculture Cooperative, District central Cooperative and State Cooperative Bank)

5. Detail case study on Cooperative under New Act: · Self-Help Cooperative / Mutually aided cooperative of Andhra & Orissa

6. Cooperative education & training 7. Role of change agent in Cooperatives.

8. Cooperatives under new economic policy – Emerging challenges
