NEW ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT
Objective:
This course is particularly recommended to those contemplating setting up their own businesses. The course will attempt to familiarize the students with the ground realities of running their own venture.
The students will be required to construct and evaluate business plans.
This elective will be open to only 20 PGP-IIs. Selection will be on the basis of a submission outlining why they wish to take the course (in not more than 150 words).

The course will include a number of entrepreneurial stories. We will discuss entrepreneurs like Ted Turner, Walchand Hirachand, Kiran Majumdar Shaw and many smaller entrepreneurs. We will also be discussing the entrepreneurial ventures of Ex-PGP from XIM and of other professionals.
