Teaching Arrangement: Term 1 Credit: 1.5. 10 Sessions of 90 minutes each Prerequisites: Understanding of business environment and business decisions. Reading of business periodicals and newspapers. Aim of the course: The course aims in providing the students with the necessary tools to understand the business decisions. By the end of the course students are expected to learn the understand various decisions through financial statements. The objective of the course to provide a enable the students to understand the financial statements: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Income Statement. Develop the ability to link the business decisions with the financial statements and develop a critical eye examining the annual report. Pre-requisite: · Go through the annual report of one of the companies Evaluation Package: Evaluation will done through on-line quizzes, group work, and the end term examination.
