I Course Objectives:

This course is designed to give a broad idea about the nature and working of the different segments of the financial markets and various types of institutions. The themes outlined would require a lot of cross-referencing as such should not be seen as watertight compartments. The discussion will be centering round the Indian context so that participants can relate what is covered in the class room to what is happening around them in the real life situations and appreciate the subject of discussion.

2.3 Capital Market
Emphasis will be on the major reforms in the different segments of the equity market
