In the present day scenario, the backbone of all the enterprises is communication and networking. Networking applications such as the internet and World Wide Web have exploded into the business world. Integration of Voice and Data communication is moving rapidly.
The objective of this course is to introduce data communications and computer networking concepts (standards, protocols and technologies) by taking practical approach. The goal is to combine the technical and managerial challenges in supporting electronic commerce, virtual teams, intranets, extranets, remote access, Voice Over IP, internetworking over wide area network (WAN) technologies and effectively manage these complex networks.
