5. Data, Descriptive and Inferential Statistics
6. Statistical Process Control and Control Chart
7. Measurement System Analysis
8. Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
9. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
10. Design of Experiment,
11. Introduction to Six Sigma
12. Six Sigma Project Selection, Execution, Monitoring and Planning
13. Six Sigma DMAIC methodology
14. Integration of TQM, Quality System, Six Sigma and Lean Concept
15. Implementation & road blocks for Quality Management
16. Six Sigma and TQM Case studies discussions

2. Student Learning Outcomes (typically 3-5 bullet points)
· Be able to understand Various Quality initiatives (TQM & Six Sigma), their Concept, Strategies, Models and Methodologies.
· Be able to Link Statistical/ Analytical and Managerial tools with TQM/ Six Sigma quality initiatives.
· Be able to understand the issues in implementation and the research scope in the areas of TQM and Six Sigma.
