5. Evaluation
Individual Written Assignment-10%
There will be one individual written assignment. The individual assignment is analysis of IR practices of an organization familiar with. The word range is 1000 to 2000
Group written-cum-presentation Assignment-15%
There will be one group written-cum-presentation assignment. The group assignment is analysis of IR practices of one sector of industry. The marks for all the members of a group will be same. Generally the word range is 3000 to 5000. The upper range may exceed with valid reason.
Quizes-15%
There will be one surprise quiz conducted during any class on the subjects taught till than. There will be of multiple choice / true or false, objective type questions in the quiz. Negative score of 0.25 will be there for each wrong answer and no penalty for the questions unanswered.
Case Study-20%
The evaluation will be based on preparation, involvement, creative contribution and personal learning paper from cases. Groups will be formed and each group will lead a case analysis. The group formation will be different from groups of written assignment. Each participant should prepare a personal learning paper (Total 5 to 10 pages) of all cases discussed. The same shall be submitted before End term examination. The marks for each participant of a group may be different.
Course involvement-10%
The assessment on course involvement would be on the basis of quality of contribution in discussions, quality of preparation & performance in class exercises and class attendance. Half a mark deduction from course involvement marks would be there for remaining absent from each session.
End Term Examination-30%
The end-term examination would be a closed-book written examination evaluating the concepts learnt and discussed during the course.

Pedagogy
The course objectives will be achieved by using a combination of lectures, class interactions, case analysis, assignment discussions, class presentations, and experiential activities.
The focus is on your learning and experiencing IR so that when you are in the industry you are very strong in IR. Hence assignments are to be done sincerely and mere copying will definitely be detected and not expected. Manual of Policies may be referred for general details.
