IntroductionIn this course we focus on using techniques that help you understand how data must be collected, presented and analyzed. We will focus on understanding the basics of descriptive and inferential statistics.
Course ObjectivesThe objective of the course is to make you aware of the fundamental concepts in statistics so that decisions that you make are based on sound and proven methods of inference from data.

4. Probability distributions
5. Sampling distribution
6. Estimation
7. Testing of hypothesis
One sample, two sample, ANOVA test, chi square etc
8.Simple linear regression
Evaluation Components· 3 Quizzes - 15% each
· Assignment - 15%
· End-Term Examination: 40%
