Course Outline


In today’s flat, competitive and ever-changing Internet enabled business world, one cannot think of managing businesses without effective IT enablers. IT Technologies have now become critical success drivers for the enterprise and the businesses.

As future business manager or leader, irrespective of whether one works in a conventional business house or a Software Product Development company or an IT Services company or even a pure play Consulting Company, one will be, many a times required to understand IT technologies, their effective selection and use and also take quick decisions regarding their purchases and deployment. As business leaders, you will have many situations when you will have to negotiate purchases of technology products and services. In this process, sound knowledge of how various IT technologies should be leveraged, both for the infrastructure as well as development and deployment of IT business applications; strengths and weaknesses of various technologies etc., will be highly essential.

This course aims at equipping the business managers and leaders with the requisite knowledge and awareness of various technologies, their strengths and usage. This will include Infrastructure Technologies (such as Networking, Communication, Internet etc..), Database & Data Warehouse technologies (such as Oracle, SQL Server, ETL, Reporting, Analytics tools) , IT Application & Deployment Technologies (such as J2EE, .Net, Portals etc..) and other Enterprise Business Application Tech Suits (such as CRM, SCM, ERP etc..).

Sunil K. Agrawala, PMP, B.S.(Engg), M.S.(Computer Science), USA. Have more than 17 years of work experience with giants like Cap Gemini, Bell Labs, Satyam, HCL Technologies, Keane. Lastly worked as Delivery Head with a team size of more than 200 members and delivery revenue in excess of 15 Mill USD. Have also worked as head of Pre-Sales and Proposal/Bid Preparation team at HCL, Keane and Satyam.

Started a new IT Consulting and Learning Management Company in the name of Bharti Consulting Inc., which is registered both in USA and in India.
