1. Course Description
Work groups and teams are essential parameters of organizational life. Since most of the contemporary organizations are project-driven, the organizational effectiveness is significantly linked with structure, function and strategy of teams. More and more attention is now being paid to the pivotal role of team work. In such a context, the understanding of group dynamics and leadership assumes a great deal of importance.
While the study of individuals in organization focuses on individual parameters, Group Dynamics and Leadership emphasizes the collective behavior. At this level, the examination of group behavior is attempted with a view to understanding the dynamics and facilitating the performance.
