COURSE OUTLINE
1. Course Description and Scope
: The study on change management and organisation development (CMOD) has gained considerable importance due to the fast and ever changing nature of business and society. Survival and development of organisations today in the ever increasing competitive world largely depends on their ability to manage change. The challenges the CMOD process address are at the level of individual, groups & teams and organisations. This course is designed to provide you with the basic concepts and the competencies you will need in order to develop passion for change and participate as a leader or agent in the process of managing change and organisation development.
2. Course Objectives
: This course will enable the participants to:
· acquire a demonstrable understanding of the concept, principles and practices of CMOD
· scan and diagnose organisational environment
· appreciate and apply appropriate OD intervention tools and methods
· be inspired by the life of leaders who have changed the world and organisations

Course Requirements
3.1
Profiling personal CMOD Competencies and Values
: Each participant will be required to submit a 20 page typed paper describing and evaluating CMOD competency base and values of a change agent.
Identify one change agent who has introduced a change in any organisation (including your own). Request 20 of his/her colleagues/customers to fill up the CMOD Competency Inventory and submit a 20 page computer typed report.
Last date for submission: Will be announced
4. Evaluation Criteria
· CMOD competencies and values : 40 %
· End Term : 50 %
· Participation in learning : 10 %
