The significance of the above cannot be under-emphasized in today's world. Nor should one fall prey to the politics of perceptions that are based on distorted information. Avoid information asymmetry at all cost. Here is one of my responses to a B-School survey conducted last year []. The response holds true even for this year. When abstracted to higher levels, B-Schools can be likened to strong trees that can withstand any pressure. However, they need to be strongly rooted. Here is one note I had written a while ago on "ROOT ROT"[].
