Venue: Class Room No.7, XIMB Campus, Bhubaneswar

All are welcome!

Note. The seminar will be based on Dr Ganesh's doctoral experience. His PhD thesis was titled, An Exploratory Study of Executive Alienation and Their Experiential Perceptions of Performance Review Systems in Organizations, awarded by Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Gujarat. (Main guide: Professor Jerome Joseph, IIM, Ahmedabad)

Author's Abstract: The study is a pioneering endeavour to examine the concept of executive alienation and its relationship with their experiential perception of performance review system characteristics empirically. The major findings of the study are that it has identified the alienating elements of performance review system and classified them into comprehensively alienating, moderately alienating and negligibly alienating. From the practitioner's point of view, the study will help in diagnosing executive alienation, which can form the basis of identifying and redesigning the alienating elements of performance review systems. It can also help to develop mentoring and coaching programmes to help the individual executives cope with the alienating elements of performance review systems.
