December 3rd is the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, the Patron of this Institute. This year is a special year as it is the 500th year of his Birth. It is also the 500th year of the Birth of Blessed Peter Faber and 450th death anniversary of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit Society (SJ). All three of them were instrumental in establishing the Jesuit Society in 1540.

To mark this special occasion we are organising a programme which includes a presentation on the lives of these Saints and cultural programme by students on Saturday, 2nd December, 2006 at 6.30 p.m. in the Auditorium.

I personally invite all of you, faculty, staff, (including maintenance staff) with family and students for the programme followed by Dinner in the Institute Lawn at 8.00 p.m.
