In view of the manipulation of marks done by two students of PGDM (RM)-II, in the profiles which were to be sent to IMRB, the Placement Committee of the Institute-Faculty Committee and Student Committees [PGDM(RM)-I&II and PGDM-I&II], has come to the following decisions regarding both the candidates:
1) Achin Bansal [PGDM (RM)-II] has been debarred from participating in the campus placement process.
2) Amit Garg [PGDM (RM)-II] will be allowed to sit for only two companies during the campus placement process. If he exhausts his two attempts, he will be allowed to sit for a company only after the last student of the batch is placed.
The Institute’s Placement Committee views this as the most lenient form of punishment which could have been given, considering the fact that this could have escalated into a more severe punishment had this matter been taken up by the Disciplinary Committee of the institute.
We believe that all the students will furnish only correct and true information, which could be supported by relevant certificates whenever required, to maintain the sanctity of the placement process.
