POLICY GUIDELINES

Policy Perspective: Our alumni are our ambassadors in the real world. They are the carriers of the skills and values we inculcate through the education we provide. They are the living examples of the personal transfomation that can be achieved through our learning system. They are also our contribution to the society at large. We expect them to maintain their intellectual curiosity, professional honesty, ethical responsibility, and managerial excellence throughout their careers. We must provide them with whatever support necessary to ensure that they maintain the above qualities. Besides, they are also part of our extended XIMB community. We would like to make them a part of our strivings and our achievements. We must build our community in such a way that no member ever feels isolated. We must create the systems that make our collective strengths available to every member as a shared resource. On the whole, we must strive to make us all feel part of something truly great!

Specific Policies (Draft: Not yet approved): The Institute will sponsor faculty-members attending alumni meets, at the rate of one faculty-member per location per year, subject to the availability of funds in the alumni accounts. The faculty-members attending such meets are expected to strengthen our alumni relations and promote the Institute's broader interests. Such participation should be planned in consultation with the Alumni Co-ordinator.
