Quality in Higher Education
The journal aims at those interested in the theory, practice and policies relating to the control, management and improvement of quality in higher education. The journal publishes system-wide analyses and comparative studies between institutions or countries. Papers that have empirical research content are particularly welcome. The journal is receptive to critical, phenomenological as well as positivistic studies.

The handbook charts social research methodology, covering qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods in one volume. The Handbook includes chapters on the different phases of the research process: research design, methods of data collection, and the processes of analyzing and interpreting data.

Understanding Digital Humanities
This book discusses the implications and applications of 'Digital Humanities' and the questions raised when using algorithmic techniques. Key researchers in the field provide a comprehensive introduction to important debates surrounding issues such as the contrast between narrative versus database, pattern-matching versus hermeneutics, and the statistical paradigm versus the data mining paradigm.

The UK Data Service is a comprehensive resource funded by the ESRC to support researchers, teachers and policymakers who depend on high-quality social and economic data. Here users will find a single point of access to a wide range of secondary data including large-scale government surveys, international macrodata, business microdata, qualitative studies and census data from 1971 to 2011.

The Grounded Theory Institute
