The three-year part-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India. Since XIMB is an autonomous Institute not affiliated to any university, it does not grant degrees. XIMB has been awarded the SAQS Accreditation by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) for a period of five years. XIMB has been awarded the NBA Accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation for a period of 3 years for PGDM-PT programme. The Institute is also a member of the AACSB.
