CRC is responsible for troubleshooting Institute-owned computer equipment and software.
It is our policy to have our staff make repairs, when it is within our capability.
Most of our hardware is under warranty of some maintenance vendor. The users are required to contact the designated person of the vendor to get repairing of the hardware done.
For the software, we provide support only for designated software. The users are strongly discouraged from installing software without seeking permission from the CRC. CRC may refuge to support those machines which carry unauthorized software.
When repairs are beyond our capability, we make recommendations about outside service, and work with them to obtain the needed service.
